Mom lets niece babysit her toddler, minutes later gets photo that has her dying of laughter

As a parent, it’s difficult to go on with day to day activities especially if there’s a need to look after your newborn child. Being a parent of a newborn entails so much responsibility that even taking the slightest breather won’t make the best decision.

That’s why Claudia Sorhaindo, mother of baby Ava, thought that it might be a good idea to have her baby be looked after by her niece, J’Ann.

It’s common to have a family member do this for you, not only is it practical, but it’s also comforting to know that your child is in good hands and can be trusted.

J’Ann at the age of fifteen, is very used to babysitting because she belongs to a big family. (She’s one of 17 grandchildren!) This made her have plenty of experience in babysitting.

As Claudia was preoccupied with her errands for the day, she was surprised to see photos sent to her by J’Ann.

J’Ann got hungry and wanted to make herself a sandwich but didn’t want baby Ava out of her sight, so she knew she had to find a way to make the situation work and this is how she did it:

Putting a baby inside your pants and looking like a mother kangaroo may not be a typical babysitting tactic to be able to multitask. However, for babysitter J’Ann, it’s probably the best babysitting hack ever.

So I had to run out the house for a quick min, so I asked my niece to babysit Baby Ava. A few min later I received a text saying that J’Ann wanted to make a sandwich but didn’t want to let baby Ava out of her sight.

“Lord send help this was her solution… like really creativity at its finest!”

Finding it creative and hilarious, Claudia posted the photo on Facebook. The post went viral with 305,000 likes and thousands of comments saying how entertaining J’Ann’s babysitting style was. Some even said that they will try doing it with their own babies.

The story left Claudia and the internet world laughing, but all of this actually has a deeper meaning. Claudia lost her 3 month old child, Janelle, who passed away in 2011. Any parent who would lose a child will definitely feel the need to be overprotective so it’s understandable that Claudia may be extra protective of her daughter, Ava.

All thanks to J’Ann’s creative babysitting skills, Claudia will be going back home knowing that her baby girl is alright.
