“What I would want people to know is keep a close relationship with your siblings,” she said. “Be there for your siblings, because at the end of the day, family’s what’s most important.”
Sibling relationships
Experts estimate that around 80% of Americans have at least one sibling, and these relationships often last longer than the parent-child bond, according to Greater Good Magazine.

Susan McHale, a researcher at Penn State University, points out that siblings are a constant throughout life, unlike parents, romantic partners, and friends who may not always be present.
This enduring bond is important for personal growth and well-being, with research showing that people with close sibling relationships generally have better mental, psychological, and social health.
