Woman struggles to have a baby, and so her two sisters help her fulfill her dream of becoming a mother

The bond between siblings is incredibly strong. They stick together through thick and thin, offering each other love, help, and friendship from when they’re little kids to when they’re grown-ups

Jaclyn Fieberg had a hard time trying to have a baby, but her sisters were right there for her.

Her younger sister became her egg donor, and her older sister carried the baby for her. It was a big act of love.

“Every single roadblock that I felt like we could hit, we were hitting,” Fieberg said.

Jaclyn, a teacher, and her husband Greg, a firefighter and sergeant in the Air National Guard, have wanted to have a baby since they got married in 2018.

They failed seven times with In vitro fertilization and suffered three miscarriages.

Moreover, they found out that Jaclyn had endometriosis and a chromosomal condition that made it hard for her to have a baby, according to TODAY.

When Jaclyn’s doctor suggested she needed an egg donor, her younger sister Meredith McIntyre said she’d do it immediately.

“I just knew it was something I had to do for her,” said Meredith.

“I don’t know how she went through the journey that she’s been through,” Meredith, a mother of twins, said, adding that it’s been years, and it was so hard for her family to see her sister’s family struggle.

Sadly, the first try to put McIntyre’s egg into her sister didn’t work.

Meanwhile, Stephanie Corritori, the older sister and a mother of two, also wanted to help.

When Jaclyn asked her to carry the baby, Stephanie didn’t hesitate.

“I would have given anything,” Stephanie said.

With Meredith as an egg donor, Stephanie got pregnant on June 2, 2023, during their mother’s birthday!

“Once the transfer took, I remember I fell to my knees, and I just hoped and prayed,” said Stephanie.

Feeling stressed about carrying the baby for her sister, Stephanie tried to stay hopeful.

She said she had a playlist called “We’ve Got This” that she listened to, reminding her that they were all in the pregnancy together as a team.

Stephanie explained that the songs reminded her of Jaclyn’s struggles, and now they’re for Emersyn, so her life is full of joy.

The playlist had songs like “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts, “Most People Are Good” by Luke Bryan, and “When You Believe” by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

Baby Emersyn Clare was born on February 1, 2024. It was an emotional moment for everyone. Stephanie, lying in the hospital bed, turned to Jaclyn and said, “You’re a mom!”

Jaclyn was overjoyed. She said that Emersyn would know her story, and she’d know how much she wanted, and that her aunts did something amazing for her.

Hoda Kotb talked to Jaclyn and her sisters on TV and asked how motherhood felt.

“It’s amazing,” said Jaclyn.

“It’s better than I even dreamt of, and I can’t even believe that we’re here right now and that she’s finally here,” she added.

Hoda was amazed by what Jaclyn went through. She asked if there were times when Jaclyn thought she might be unable to have a baby.

Jaclyn admitted it was tough sometimes, but she never gave up hope.

“I just couldn’t give it up. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I was invested and kept praying that we’d finally have a miracle.”

Hoda asked the sisters how they would tell Emersyn about their journey one day.

“I just hope she always knows how much we wanted her, that we were not willing to put it to rest until she was here, and that not only do my husband, Greg, and I want her, but her aunts — her special aunts — and her grandparents … everybody was rooting for us,” said Jaclyn. “She’s finally here. So we’re just so grateful.”
