An Instagram post is capturing the internet’s attention, showcasing the incredible family support the poster receives from her siblings.
In May 2024, Tia Bee Stokes decided to see how generous her siblings were. She asked each of them for a $100 loan.
Their heartfelt responses brought her to tears, and the Instagram reel she posted soon went viral.
Tia, a cancer survivor, became an internet sensation in 2020. After being diagnosed with cancer, she started dancing every day as part of her treatment.

She wanted to prove to herself and others that she was still alive and fighting. Tia shared videos of her daily dances on social media, from home to the hospital.
The video shows Tia’s text message asking her six siblings for a $100 loan through Venmo.
“I asked all of my six siblings for $100 with no reason except I was in a bind and I was shocked at how they responded,” the video overlay said.

She was shocked by their positive responses like “Of course,” “Let me know if you need anything else,” and “I gotchu!”.
Each sibling offered to help; one even sent her $500 instead of just $100.
“This made me cry,” Tia captioned the video, explaining that she was crying tears of joy.
She felt grateful that she could always rely on her siblings, who offered their support without asking for an explanation.
Tia believes their parents are proud of all seven of them, even though they aren’t perfect. “But our love is strong,” she added, noting in the video overlay, “They taught me, ‘Love with no reason.'”

The emotional scene moved thousands of people to tears. Comments praised Tia’s siblings for their unquestioning family support.
User @kreateurlife noted their lack of hesitation, and @whataboutaub hoped for a similar bond for their children.
Many felt Tia was lucky to have such supportive siblings, contrasting with their own experiences where siblings might block or ignore such requests, with @da_sha8373 humorously saying, “I need some new siblings.”
In her interview, Tia said she wants her actions to spread “hope.” She believes that being generous is the key to inspiring hope in others.
She emphasizes that helping even one person can make a difference and encourages others to do the same.
Her siblings showed unconditional love, and despite enduring severe illnesses and tough treatments, Tia feels rich in love.
How do you build a good family support system?
A strong family support system comprises family or friends who encourage and stick with you through thick and thin, says Work & Mother.
To build a strong family support system, be the kind of support you want to receive. Encourage and help those you care about, just like you’d hope they’d do for you.
This could mean arranging a babysitting swap, having lunch with a friend who needs to talk, or sending an encouraging note.

Also, instead of starting from scratch, focus on strengthening your existing relationships. If you trust and love someone, deepen your connection with them.
If they show genuine interest and encouragement, tell them you need more support and explain what you want.
Tell them how they’ve helped you, and invite them to be part of your support system. They’ll be excited to build a closer relationship if they’re the right fit.
Furthermore, stay away from negative and toxic people. Instead, focus on those who support you and your family.
You can be polite but still exclude them from your family support system if it’s not helpful. When hosting events, feel free to leave out people who might bring negativity.
You can explain that you’re keeping the gathering small to reduce stress.
