A woman gives back to the community creatively and heartily by turning viral โhaulโ videos into acts of kindness.
McKenzie Mack, 28, has found a unique way to help her neighbors while inspiring thousands of people online. Her journey is a story of inspiration, generosity, and the power of a single donation.

Finding a creative way to help others
McKenzie began looking for a meaningful way of giving back to her neighborhood.
She soon discovered Little Free Pantries โ small, zero-barrier cabinets where anyone can leave or take food, school supplies, books, and household items.
Seeing them as the perfect opportunity, she combined her love of content creation with her passion for helping others.
Instead of making typical shopping videos that highlight luxury purchases, McKenzie started filming herself restocking the pantries.
“Viral restocking content usually glorifies overconsumption, so I wanted to find a way to give people that same content for a good cause instead,” McKenzie told PEOPLE.

Her videos quickly gained attention because they mix entertainment with real-life generosity.
McKenzie often asks her followers what their community needs most, then buys those items.
One of her most popular videos was a back-to-school haul, which she created to support children during the school season.
She explained that each pantry restock typically costs between $150 and $300, depending on what she buys and the pantryโs size.
Her back-to-school restock included a donation of school supplies worth $255.
McKenzie said she loves checking back after a restock to see what items are taken first and how quickly the pantry becomes empty again โ often within a day or two.

Giving back through school supplies
Inspired by the new school year, McKenzie reviewed a supply list from a nearby elementary school before shopping.
She picked up notebooks, colored pencils, scissors, water bottles, and even headphones, ensuring kids had what they needed for a successful start.
Her video went viral, gathering more than 660,000 views and proving that one small act of giving back can inspire a much bigger movement.
“I was inspired to share donations on social media to hopefully give others that social push,” McKenzie said.

How one woman inspires more people to give back
McKenzie has received countless messages from people nationwide who have started doing their own pantry restocks after seeing her videos.
She has also noticed more influencers posting about their donations, which she says is one of the most rewarding results of sharing her work.
She encourages everyone to discover what lights them up.
“Everyone has different passions, and I encourage people to find theirs! It doesn’t have to start and end with Little Free Pantry donations,” McKenzie said.
She has also volunteered at food banks, canvassed for human rights, and even cooked meals for single mothers โ showing that giving back can take many forms.
