I’m sure many people are familiar with the scene where a child tightly clings to their mom or dad while crying. Sometimes, you’ll even see the parent shedding tears themselves.
The video below captures just one of these moments on film. What made this extraordinary was when a group of older neighborhood kids approached the worried mom and promised to keep an eye on her little boy.
In an act of kindness, they assured his mom they will be his ‘bodyguard’ and promising no harm will come to him.
One of the older boys said, ‘El que lo toque lo agarro,’ which roughly translates to ‘Whoever touches him, we’ll get them!’
The grateful mom began hugging the older children, feeling a wave of relief wash over her as she realized her little boy would be in good hands.
