A bus station in Brazil has opened up their hearts – and their property’s doors – to the homeless dogs in their area.
When winter (June 21st first day of the winter season in Brazil) was slowly approaching, the employees at Barreirinha bus terminal in Curitiba decided to do something to keep stray dogs from freezing in the streets.

The pups, now known as Zoinho, Pitoco, and Max, were provided with food and water by the bus station staff. Not only that, but they also built makeshift beds for each of them using old tires and comfortable blankets!
Now, these lucky trio has the perfect place to keep themselves warm and cozy.

It’s unknown if the dogs were abandoned or they started out life as strays, but with the kind hearts of the employees at the bus station, they know now what it feels like to have a home.
The act of kindness towards Max, Pitoco, and Zoinho caught the attention of Fabiane Rosa, a local politician and animal lover. In a Facebook post that she wrote which has since gone viral, she commended the people who took the time to make this world a better place for the less fortunate animals.

“Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be. So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopting a pet. Of course it is not the ideal, but at least there are those who are looking after them,” Rosa wrote on Facebook.

May this story serve as an inspiration and reminder to all of us to be kind towards every living being on this planet, for they deserve to live in it peacefully and comfortably just as much as we do.
