Many times, lost animals never find their way back home which made the story of this lost animal found by his family in the streets really amazing and heart-warming.
A sweet puppy named Leo went missing two months ago which left his family utterly devastated. They searched for him everywhere but they did not see any sign of the dog. Just recently; however, their luck changed and finally found their lovely dog in the street.
Sertac Arac, the son of the dog’s owners, was working in a town about 60 miles away from their home. He was passing through when he saw a familiar, dirty stray dog outside a café. At first, Serctac thought it looked similar to his parents’ pet. Out of curiosity and excitement, he snapped a photo of the dog and immediately sent it to his parents.
Sertac Arac said, “I took a picture and sent it to my mother and father. I was in doubt.” Though in doubt, he still encouraged his equally-doubtful parents to see the dog for themselves and check if it really was their lost pet.
Despite the distance and the doubts, Sertac’s parents drove 60 miles to see the dog, hoping it was their sweet pup Leo. They went to the spot where Sertac saw the dog and luckily confirmed it was indeed Leo.
When they saw the dog, all the doubts in their mind completely vanished and was replaced by happiness. Even after months of not seeing his family, Leo recognized them right away and was delighted to reunite with his fur parents. “When Leo saw us, he was very happy and we were very happy,” Sertac said.
In the video uploaded by Sertac on Facebook, the happiness in Leo’s face was apparent as well as the disbelief that he would still be found 60 miles away from where he went missing. After a few months of roaming around the streets without proper grooming and enough food, Leo would be showered with love again by his caring family.
Finally, the lovely animal found by his family headed home with them, where he truly belongs. Sertac’s parents were very happy to find Leo after searching for him for a couple of months and not seeing any sign of him.
While Leo got a happy ending with his family, the other two dogs of Arac family, who also went missing, have not been found yet. The Arac family believed that this was the work of a local dognapper. However, after finding Leo, they found hope that they can find the other dogs, too.
According to Sertac, “We’re so happy Leo is home. I will look carefully everywhere I visit in hopes we find the other two dogs. My father and mother will continue to search as long as they can, because they see them as their sons and love them.”
