Martin Studer, a postman in Brisbane, Australia does something special to a dog every day. Pippa, the dog, loves getting mails and every time she sees Studer, she runs toward him, looking forward to receiving a mail.
However, it’s not every day that there’s a mail for Pippa to collect. Seeing how sad Pippa is whenever she doesn’t get a mail, Suther thought of a wonderful idea to not upset the lovely dog.
“Sometimes, Pippa comes out for the daily delivery but there’s no mail for her to collect so I have to improvise,” Suther wrote on Facebook.

Suther makes Pippa her own mail and delivers it to her address in Brisbane. Every single day, he makes sure Pippa will get something from him when he arrives.
Suther hands Pippa an empty envelope that says “Mail for Pippa” which she eagerly takes in her mouth and delivers to her family.
“I’ve been on Pippa’s run for the last 2-3 years,” Studer said. “I have always written something to her. I just don’t want to disappoint her! She LOVES the postie. It really makes her day when we come by.”

Apart from cheering Pippa up, Suthard also loves what he’s doing because he’s able to see and interact with Pippa every day.
His job is not easy and every time he’s having a hard time at work, Pippa puts a smile on his face. Suthard is also amazed by how well-trained Pippa is.
“I love dogs. You can always tell what an owner is like by the way their dogs act,” Suther said.
When Suthard posted this amazing story on Facebook, it quickly went viral. People were touched by how the Brisbane postman “improvised” to keep the dog happy every day.
The post garnered more than 3,000 comments and 5,000 shares as well as praises for Suthard.
Sheila Kunkle, one of the commenters wrote, “Thanks for being such an awesome mailman, and Pippa is too cute.”
Deborah Chapman, Suther’s Facebook friend also commented on his post, “Those eyes! How could you let that angel down? You’re a good man x 10!”

More than the commendations and appreciation Suther got from people all over the world, he is happy to break down the “postie vs. dog” stereotype.
People always think that dogs are aggressive towards mailmen but Suther is proud to prove to them that this is not always the case.
There are lots of dogs like Pippa who are very friendly with strangers and are also well-trained to behave in front of humans. Suther loves dogs and he treasures the close relationship he had developed with Pippa.
