If you think you couldn’t love Keanu Reeves more, then you are ‘breathtakingly’ probably wrong.
The actor, known for being extremely kind and down to earth, is winning hearts once again after his most recent surprise for a fan.
Stacey Hunt, a resident of Slidell, Louisiana, had heard that Keanu was filming the third installment in the “Bill and Ted” franchise near her home. Ethan, her 16-year-old son, had a thoughtful idea. As big fans of the actor, he suggested that they all welcome him to the neighborhood with a poster.
Stacey agreed with the plan and went on to write the words “YOU’RE BREATHTAKING” in a plain white canvas. This phrase was a reference to the star’s appearance at the E3 gaming conference in June, where he told the audience that they, too, were breathtaking after a guy in attendance shouted to him that he was. Of course, just like every single thing that Keanu does, the cute moment went viral and became the subject of internet memes.
A few hours after Stacey planted the posted on her yard, a car pulled up and a few people got out. The group admired the poster, and this is when the mother of two, who was watching from her driveway, spotted Keanu.
Stacey said that she approached him in disbelief. Then, the humble actor asked if he could sign her poster. Unsurprisingly, she agreed to his request!
Ed Solomon, the screenwriter of “Bill and Ted”, captured the scene and posted the photos on Twitter.
“So yesterday this sign was out on a lawn on the way to set. Keanu jumped out of the car and did this,” he wrote.
One photo showed Keanu crouched under the heat of the sun while signing the canvas. The other showed the finished product – the poster signed with “Stacey, you’re breathtaking!” in beautiful penmanship.
Keanu even posed for a photo with Stacey and her sons, who came out of the house after she shouted that actor was in their yard. After a few minutes of talking with Keanu about his new film and “The Matrix,” Stacey said that he planted the sign back on the ground, shook their hands, and finally drove away.
“What you read about him being such a great person with a great heart is true,” Stacey told CNN. “At least that’s what I think from my few minutes with him.”
Truly, nothing could stop the internet’s boyfriend from doing his random acts of kindness, not even a filming schedule!
