You’ve Been In This Place Before

You’re going to be okay. Breathe and remember that you’ve been in this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared, and you’ve survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feelings can’t break you. They’re painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them and eventually, they will pass. Maybe not immediately, but sometime soon, they are going to fade and when they do, you’ll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience. I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, again and again. This will pass. I promise it will pass.Daniell Koepke

You are exactly right. You have lost a part of your heart and the whole unique person you helped bring into this world. I understand,,,I truly do. I have buried a daughter, nearly born granddaughter, and my husband. It is all so very painful living without the ones you wanted to love your whole life long.

This too shall pass is one of two quotes my father made me memorized before I left to enter the world. No matter what situation arises, no matter how traumatic, the pain of it will pass. Nothing gets stronger without resistance.

Just like lifting weights...everything is devceloped by adding weight. When it gets heavy use a spotter for support. Just don't give up on yourself.

So true, Charlotte. We can only exist once we experience the loss of a child. Blessings to you.
